AirDrop is an amazing Apple feature that allows you to share files between iPhones, iPads and Macs, creating a temporary local wireless network. It is (mostly) fast and frictionless but exclusive for their devices.
But there's an open source alternative that works with incredible reliability on any Operating System: LocalSend. It is multiplatform — meaning you can send files between Android, iPhone, Windows, Linux and Mac. You only need to connect the devices to the same Wi-Fi network, open the app, choose the files and send.
I've been constantly taking screenshots and videos on my phones dedicated to testing, and it's the best way to share them quickly to my Mac.
There are other alternatives, but this is the one I found reliable and easier to use. Also, useful for people that have one Apple device but are not entirely on Apple's ecosystem.
